Levante have signed veteran Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres.

Now 34, the former Barcelona defender has signed for Levante to the end of the season with the option for another 12 months.

Caceres joins Levante as a free agent after his contract with Cagliari was terminated.

Along with Barca, in Spain Caceres also played for Villarreal, Recreativo de Huelva and Sevilla.
