Leicester City keeper Jakub Stolarczyk has signed for Fleetwood Town for this season.

The 21-year-old is a highly-rated star within the Leicester setup, but the club believe he needs a year of regular first-team football.

He will now spend the campaign on loan at Fleetwood, rather than being third-choice behind Danny Ward and Daniel Iverson.

Leicester have signed Alex Smithies to take over that position for this campaign.

The Poland youth international has been with Leicester since the age of 16.
