Leicester have signed Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu on a five-year deal, subject to a work permit being granted.

Sky Sports News understands the fee could rise to £19m, with the Turkey international agreeing personal terms and passing a medical before the 5pm deadline on Thursday.

Leicester are confident the permit will be granted for the 22 year old, but it will take several days to be confirmed.
