Leeds United have officially completed the signing of Mateo Joseph Fernandez from La Liga outfit RCD Espanyol.

The 18-year-old is a center forward who has been a part of Espanyol's academy.

The forward managed 14 goals in 21 Under-19 games last season.

Mateo has signed for an undisclosed fee, per the Leeds website, and has a British passport through his parents.

He will be playing with Leeds' Under-23 side for the rest of this season.
