DONE DEAL: Isaac Buckley-Ricketts explains quitting Man City for Peterborough

Manchester City winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts has left for Peterborough United.

The 20-year-old has signed for Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee on a three year deal having failed to make the break through at City.

“I have watched Peterborough play a few times and they play attacking football, which is the style of play that I am used to. I felt it was the right time to leave Manchester City, but it is tough because I have been there a long time," he told Peterborough's website.

"Once I got my head around the move, I knew it was the right decision. I want to play regular first team football and it is great to join a club in pre-season because I can get to know the lads and form a bond."
