Hull City have signed midfielder Ryan Mason from Tottenham for what they describe as a "club record undisclosed fee".

Mason had attracted interest from Sunderland but has opted to join former Spurs players Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore and Michael Dawson at the KCOM Stadium.

Hull temporary boss Mike Phelan has targeted up to six new signings before the transfer window closes after starting the season with just 13 fit senior players.
