Hull City have secured the signing of Chelsea loanee Xavier Simons.

The 19-year-old was at the club on loan for the first half of the season.

Despite only playing three times for the Championship side this term, Simons has earned a permanent transfer.

Hull manager Liam Rosenior is a huge admirer of the youngster and wanted him badly.

The club believe that he can grow and can quickly become an important starter.

Per the London Evening Standard, Simons will play across the midfield and in defense for Hull.

Burnley, Bristol City, Millwall and Charlton had all been interested in him as well.
