Hellas Verona have snapped up Matuzalem.

The Brazilian midfielder joins as a free agent after being released by Bologna.

“Hellas Verona announces the signing of midfielder Francelino Matuzalem Da Silva," a brief statement on the club's official website confirmed.

"Having passed a medical, the player has signed a contract which ties him to the club for a year. 'Matu' chose the squad number 27."
