Getafe have clinched the signing of Las Palmas striker Loic Remy.

Getafe saw off competition from Levante and Watford to sign the France international.

Remy sought to leave Las Palmas after a bust-up with new coach Paco Jemez before Christmas.

The striker joins Getafe on a straight loan to the end of the season, turning down more lucrative offers from Levante and Watford in the process.

Remy passed a medical on Sunday and his move was confirmed in the afternoon.
