Fulham have announced that Kostas Mitroglou has joined Portuguese giants Benfica on a season-long loan.
The 27-year-old Greek striker will spend the 2015/16 campaign at the Estadio da Luz having spent last season with former club Olympiakos.
Mitroglou joined Fulham for £12million in January 2014 but has played just three times for the Cottagers.
Manager Kit Symons said earlier today that Mitroglou has no intentions of playing in the Championship as he joined Fulham to play Premier League football prior to their relegation at the end of the 2013/14 season.
