DONE DEAL: Fulham pull off coup by signing Wigan fullback Robinson

Fulham have pulled off a coup by signing highly-rated fullback Antonee Robinson from Wigan Athletic.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract after the two clubs agreed on a £2 million deal.

Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan said of Robinson's arrival: "I'm pleased to announce that Antonee Robinson has joined Fulham Football Club on a multiyear contract agreement.

"Antonee is a great young addition to our squad for our return to the Premier League.

"He works hard and is known for being an excellent teammate with a great attitude, and he's been a valued contributor everywhere he's played in recent years, in the Championship and with the U.S. men's national team as well. Come On Fulham!"

The USA international came close to joining AC Milan on deadline day in January. He was also targeted by Everton, Sheffield United and Newcastle United.
