Chris Wood is signing permanently with Nottingham Forest.
Even without having the certainty of Prem safety, Nottingham Forest have exercised their obligation to buy Wood after the conditions set in January were met.
The 31-year-old New Zealand striker will leave Newcastle in a permanent basis and will sign a contract until 2024, with an optional further season.
The Magpies will receive €17m, in addition to the €4.5m already paid for the loan deal settled in January.
Forest remain in the thick of the relegation battle.
