Released West Brom striker Stephane Sessegnon has signed with Montpellier.

Montpellier today announced the signing of Sessegnon, on a two-year contract.

The ex-Sunderland frontman was a free agent, after West Brom released him at the end of last season.

A statement on the Ligue 1 club's official website confirmed the 32-year-old Benin international had signed and been given the number 28 jersey.
