DONE DEAL: Ex-Real Madrid captain Marcelo joins Olympiacos

Former Real Madrid captain Marcelo has signed for one year with Olympiacos to play in the Greek's Super League and their international tournaments.

Marcelo will then play for his third team in his career, after only wearing the Fluminense and Real Madrid jerseys before this opportunity to play in Greece.

This way the Brazilian fulfills his desire to keep playing in Europe for at least one more year, after he left Real Madrid following 16 incredible and winning seasons, leaving the team as the player with the most amount of trophies won in the history of the club.

With Real Madrid he played in 546 games and scored 38 goals, cementing himself as one of the best players in team's history after being able to win 5 Champions League, 6 LaLiga titles, 3 Club World Championships, 3 European Supercups, 5 Spanish Supercups and 2 Copa del Rey.
