Former Norwich City fullback Martin Olsson has signed with Helsingborgs IF.
The 31 year-old has been a free agent since coming off contract last summer from Swansea City.
The contract with HIF runs until June 30.
HIF chairman Krister Azelius told Fotbollskanalen: "He does not burden the economy at all, as there is a small, small, small sacrifice.
"To be allowed to play in the Allsvenskan you have to be a professional and to be a professional you have to enjoy a salary of SEK 10,000 per year, but because this contract is short we have agreed that the salary for these three months is 10 times SEK 1,000 (£800), but it will not burden the economy either."
