Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell has joined Sheffield United on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has made just two appearances for Everton this season.

Dowell, considered one of England's brightest talents, spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, scoring 10 goals in 40 appearances.

He joins a Blades outfit sitting fourth in the Championship, 10 points behind pace-setters Leeds.
