Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen is close to joining Werder Bremen.
The Dutchman suffered a torrid debut season at Goodison Park following his big money move from Ajax last summer.
He failed to impress any of the three Toffees managers last season, having made just three starts in the Premier League across seven appearances.
The 25-year-old will not participate in Everton's friendly with Blackburn on Thursday.
