Espanyol have swooped for China striker Wu Lei.

The departing Shanghai SIPG forward was the Chinese Premier League's Golden Boot for 2018 and has signed a deal to 2023.

Now 24, he debuted as a professional player at 14 years and 10 months on September 2, 2006 becoming the youngest player to appear in the Chinese Super League.

Wu Lei was named best player and top scorer after scoring 27 goals last season.
