Doncaster Rovers have signed midfielders Josh Sims and Matt Smith on loan from Southampton and Manchester City respectively.

Sims, 23, spent time on loan with Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls last season and has joined Rovers for three months.

Wales international Smith, 20, has agreed a season-long deal.

Both players could feature for Rovers in Saturday's League One match against Portsmouth.
