Derby County have confirmed the signing of Kieran Dowell from Everton on a season long loan deal.

The talented midfielder, 21, spent last season on loan at Sheffield United.

Rams boss Phillip Cocu said: "I am very happy that Kieran Dowell has chosen to join us on loan for the season.

"He is an exciting young player with a lot of potential, and I am looking forward to working with him."
