Deportivo La Coruna have swooped for Manchester City defender Pablo Mari.

Mari has signed for Deportivo La Coruna for the whole of next season.

The 24-year-old centre back signed for the Blues two years ago from Spanish third division outfit Gimnastic de Tarragona, but was loaned out to sister club Girona the following day.

He played just eight times for Girona, but spent last season on loan at NAC Breda, another of the City Football Group clubs, where he played 31 games and was made captain.

Mari has joined Segunda Division Depor on a season-long loan with the option to sign permanently.
