Ben Davies has joined Rangers from Liverpool in a deal worth £4m.

The 26-year-old did not make a single appearance for Liverpool since joining from Preston North End in February 2021.

Davies spent the second-half of last season at Sheffield United, and Rangers beat competition from Championship clubs to secure his signature.

Gers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst said: "I would like to welcome Ben to our squad and I am delighted he has joined the club. He is a strong defender with great qualities and will further add to our options in that area."

Sporting Director, Ross Wilson added: "I am delighted Ben has chosen Rangers as the next step in his career and Giovanni and our coaching staff are looking forward to working with him as we head into the new season."
