Chesterfield FC have signed a pair of players on loan.

The League One club have landed Manchester City's David Faupala and Preston North End's Liam Grimshaw.

19-year-old French attacker Faupala had trialled with Belgian club Zulte-Waregem but has ended up with the Spireites for the rest of the seaosn.

Former Manchester United midfielder Grimshaw, who joined Preston a year ago, has also moved to the Proact Stadium for the remainder of the campaign.

Both loans are subject to the necessary paperwork being completed.
