Chelsea have completed the signing of Abdul Baba Rahman from FC Augsburg.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian left-back has joined the reigning Premier League champions on a long-term deal for a fee believed to be in excess of £20million.
Rahman joins Chelsea after spending last season in the Bundesliga with Augsburg, following his move to the Bavarian outfit from second division Greuther Furth last summer.
"I am very happy to sign for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I can't wait to train with my new team-mates and very much looking forward to working with them and Mr Mourinho," he told the club's official website.
"I am also looking forward to having the opportunity to meet the fans as soon as possible."
Rahman can operate on the left side of defence and can also be deployed as a midfielder or winger.
