Charlton Athletic have signed Sam Field from West Bromwich Albion.

As Lee Bowyer builds a talented squad at the Addicks, Field arrived on transfer deadline day for the Championship clubs.

He had his medical and becomes the 10th addition to the squad this summer.

The 21-year-old will spend the entire season at Charlton, where he hopes to get regular game time.

Field has played 41 games for West Brom and appeared for the England under-20s.
