DONE DEAL: Cengiz Under thanks Rodgers after Leicester signing

Leicester City have completed the signing of Roma winger Cengiz Under.

Ünder says he 'can't wait to reflect his passion' on the pitch and thanked Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers following his loan move to King Power Stadium on Sunday.

In a Twitter post published shortly after the confirmation of his loan, Ünder spoke of his three years at A.S. Roma, as well as the new challenge he is set to embark upon in his short but productive career.

The talented winger, 23, will spend the rest of the 2020/21 season on loan at the Foxes, and becomes only the third Turkey national to play for the Club, with legend Muzzy Izzet and best friend Çağlar Söyüncü the other two.

The loan deal, which is subject to Premier League and international clearance, was confirmed on Sunday morning ahead of City's first home fixture of 2020/21 – a clash with Burnley on Filbert Way.

Under said, "Thanks to Brendan Rodgers, all the staff and management, for trusting me in this new chapter. Also I'm grateful to my family and my agent who always supported me.

"I can't wait to reflect my passion to the field."
