Cagliari has swooped for Atalanta defender Matteo Lovato.

Cagliari have confirmed the agreement with Atalanta and Lovato. The deal does not come with an option to buy for the Sardinians.

“Atalanta B.C. announces that footballer Matteo Lovato has joined Cagliari on loan until the end of the 2021-2022 season," Atalanta statement read.

Cagliari are struggling this season, having collected ten points so far this season.
