Burnley have snapped up Danish prospect Arman Taranis.
The Clarets have signed the youngster as a free agent his release from Sønderjyske.
Taranis had been trialling with the Clarets and it was confirmed on Friday that he had won and signed terms with the Premier League outfit.
The striker is an U19 Denmark international and also came through the academy at FC Midtjylland.
Taranis said, "I was a little surprised because I did not expect to get a call from England. Suddenly I was over here and had two weeks that I think went well. I played against Preston, which was a pretty good match for me. I scored a goal and had another chance.
"It's a bit unbelievable. Again, I never thought I would come to England and get a contract with this club. I know the club because they play in the Premier League, so it's a very big day for me."
