Premier League new boys Brighton have snapped up Celtic defender Josh Kerr.

Kerr has swapped Celtic Park for the Under-23 set-up at the Premier League new boys.

The defender will be hoping to impress Chris Hughton and fight his way into his senior squad when he pitches up for pre-season training.

Albion youth coach Simon Rusk said: “We are delighted that we've been able to acquire the services of Josh for next season.

“He will be an excellent addition to the under-23 squad, and his versatility across the back four will be a key asset.
