Brighton midfielder Will Collar has signed for Hamilton Academical.

The 22-year-old, who made his senior debut for the Seagulls in the Carabao Cup against Southampton last season, will join up with Brian Rice's team after the Accies secured their top-flight status.

Brighton U23 coach Simon Rusk said, “I'd like to thank Will for all his efforts during his time at the club — he became an important member of our under-23 team after progressing through the youth ranks.

“Will has always set a great example with his attitude and application, and he'll certainly be leaving the club in a better position than when he first joined.

“This move to Hamilton provides an exciting opportunity for Will to build a career at senior level, and we wish him the best of luck in Scotland."
