Villarreal have signed Bournemouth winger Arnaut Danjuma.
Danjuma joins the Europa League winners on a contract to 2026.
He said at his presentation: “I want to thank the club for betting on me. Villarreal has just won an important trophy and wants to continue growing, just like me. It is an exciting challenge. I really want to start playing for my new club and to be able to repay the confidence of the club by offering my best level.
“(Unai) Emery is one of the best coaches in the world. He has been decisive for me to have reached this great club. I want to improve at his command. I have no doubt that with him I will grow as a footballer.
“I have seen that the group is very united. There is a spirit on and off the field. The teammates trust each other and that helps you grow as a team. The group is a family and that is important to me."
On playing in the Champions League, he added: “It is obvious that it is exciting for me. It is an important step in my career to play for Villarreal. I have played the Champions League already. I scored a goal against Atlético and maybe some fans in Spain know me for that. I want to show the fans what I am capable of. The Champions excites us all. I want to help Villarreal in all competitions by providing goals and assists.
“Physically I am fine. I am physically and mentally prepared. I make myself available to the coach when he needs me. My goal is to be 100% and that he can count on me."
