Blackburn Rovers have signed Marvin Emnes from Swansea City.

The 28-year-old forward has joined the Championship club on loan until January 15.

The Dutchman joined Swansea permanently from Middlesbrough in 2008 before enjoying two loan spells with the Welsh club.

Emnes will now head to Blackburn after finding game time hard to come by at the Liberty Stadium since arriving on a less temporary basis in 2014.
