Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is due in London on Friday to complete his stunning return to Tottenham.
Spurs are hoping to announce the season-long loan deal for the Real Madrid star on Friday.
Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has claimed Bale will fly to London to undergo his medical.
Romano also confirmed Jose Mourinho had given the deal to bring Bale back to North London the green light.
The transfer expert tweeted: "Gareth Bale to Tottenham, here we go!
"Last details to be sorted about salary [shared with Real Madrid] and Gareth will fly tomorrow to London.
"He'll complete medicals and join #THFC - one year loan.
"Mourinho approved the deal."
Romano also confirmed Tottenham had "100 per cent" completed the deal to sign full-back Sergio Reguilon.
He continued: "Reguilon expected for tomorrow too [100% done]."
On Thursday morning, Bale appeared to say his goodbyes to his Los Blancos team-mates ahead of his move back to England.
The golf-mad Welshman arrived at the club's Valdebebas training base at around 10.15am local time.
And Sky Sports News' Ben Ransom also confirmed a plane was waiting at Madrid Airport to take Bale to London.
Ransom claimed: "We were not expecting to see Gareth Bale this morning.
"We saw him drive into the training ground with plenty of time to get in and get set up. We're not sure how long he will be there.
"Yesterday he only came for 20 minutes before disappearing again.
"We are only a short drive away from Madrid Airport where a private jet is on standby should he get the green light to travel to London."
