Atletico Madrid have signed Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan.

Now 31, Adan returns to the capital five years after leaving Real Madrid.

The Spanish keeper had a year to run on his deal with Betis and joins Atletico as cover for No1 Jan Oblak.

With Andre Moreira likely to move to Sporting CP and the transfer of Axel Werner to Huesca, Atleti were in need for a new keeper signing.

Adan's move to Atletico was confirmed last night.
