Athletic Bilbao midfielder Peru Nolaskoain will spend the rest of the season on loan at LaLiga Smartbank outfit SD Amorebieta.

The midfielder joined 'Los Azules' on Friday morning after passing a medical and will stay at the Biscay-based club until June 30.

Peru, who has a contract at Athletic until June 30, 2024, will return to Lezama once the loan agreemeent comes to an end.

He has recently made his way back from a complicated ankle injury, which kept him out for 18 months, sustained during his previous loan at Deportivo La Coruña. Peru has been involved in three matches so far this season, the last of which came against FC Barcelona in the Copa del Rey on Thursday night.
