Arsenal right back Mathieu Debuchy is now a Saint-Etienne player.
Debuchy was a favorite of Wenger's during his early spell at the club, but he fell out of favor after injuries and the emergence of Hector Bellerin.
Now he has a chance to resurrect his career with a move back to his native country. Debuchy will be hoping he can cement a place in the Saint-Etienne lineup.
He will be there until the end of the season, with his contract at Arsenal being terminated.
The 32-year-old has until the end of May to convince Saint-Etienne that he is worth keeping around for another season or two.
