Arsenal are set to win the race for Exeter City teen Ethan Ampadu.
The Sun says Arsenal have gazumped Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to land Ampadu.
Chelsea thought they were close to sealing a £2million move for the midfielder last month and were willing to allow the youngster to go back to Exeter on loan.
The 16-year-old went on trial at Liverpool aged 14 but opted to stay in Devon to continue his football education.
Ampadu's father Kwame spent five years as a player at Exeter, he's now a coach at the Gunners academy which looks to have swung things in Arsenal's favour.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has built his reputation on giving youngsters at the Emirates a chance if they are good enough and its clear Ampadu Junior has been convinced.
