DONE DEAL? Alisson cuts short hols to fly to Liverpool

Liverpool staff are preparing to welcome Alisson Becker for his medical.

The Mirror says AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Liverpool.

The Brazilian international is now set to fly to Merseyside to undergo a medical ahead of completing his £67million move to the Reds.

The Anfield club agreed a £67million fee with Roma earlier on Wednesday as they look to replace error-prone No.1 Loris Karius.

And Alisson has cut short his holiday in Sardinia to complete the formalities of a move, which will make him the world's most expensive goalkeeper.

It is anticipated that a deal should be completed before the weekend.

Liverpool had opened the bidding at £62m but Roma demanded another £5m for their custodian.

Once the move is closed, Alisson will link up with his new club at the end of the month, potentially making his debut against Napoli in Dublin on August 4.
