Al-Jariza have completed the signing of Schalke 04 winger Jefferson Farfan for €6million.

The National is reporting 30-year-old Peru international Farfan has signed a three-year deal with the UAE Arabian Gulf League club, which could see him earn €3million a season.

After arriving in Abu Dhabi last night, Farfan reportedly told media: "I am happy to join the club. I am here to bring the club triumphs."

Former PSV Eindhoven star Farfan spent the past seven seasons with Schalke where he scored 53 goals in 228 appearances in all competitions for the German club.
