AC Milan defender Leo Duarte has joined Istanbul Basaksehir.

Duarte moves on loan with an option to buy.

The centre-back joins the Turkish side on loan until June 2022 and the 24-year-old leaves Milan after having played nine games for the Diavolo.

“AC Milan and Istanbul Basaksehir FK have reached an agreement over the loan of Leonardo Campos Duarte da Silva," the club wrote.

“The player will be joining Istanbul Basaksehir until June 30, 2022, on a temporary basis with an option for the Turkish side to register the player permanently."
