Dominic Solanke delighted to be off the mark for Bournemouth

Dominic Solanke is delighted to be off the mark for Bournemouth.

Solanke scored his first goal for Bournemouth exactly a year after joining as they defeated Luton Town 4-0 in the FA Cup.

The 22-year-old, who joined from Liverpool for £19m, turned home from close range to seal victory.

Solanke told afcbTV: "It feels amazing, especially after the disallowed one at first. My emotions were a bit all over the place but I managed to get the goal at the end, so I'm delighted."

Discussing his disallowed header in the first half, Solanke added: "Especially after the header in the last game (which hit the post) I made sure that I made sure I got the right contact on this one and I thought I scored. I thought it was a corner so there wouldn't be anything wrong with it but Harry (Wilson) managed to be a bit offside and it managed to get disallowed.

"I was quite angry at that, but I managed to get the result at the end."
