Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is unhappy with the size of the White Hart Lane pitch.
According to Premier League figures, Spurs' pitch is one of the smallest in the top flight, measuring 100 metres long and 67m wide. Only Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City play on smaller surfaces. Even the Stadium:mk pitch, where Tottenham may have to play for a season while the club's new stadium is built, is bigger than White Hart Lane.
"Our style means we need a bigger place to play because we play a positional game and it's true that White Hart Lane is a little bit tight," claimed Pochettino.
"It's better for the opponent. For example, on Sunday Newcastle play deep, same with West Brom and Liverpool, and it was difficult for us. We need time to adapt in our new set up and understand better our position on the pitch."
