Former Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has labelled his national teammate Granit Xhaka 'perfect' for Premier League football.
The North London club confirmed the signing of the 23-year-old midfielder from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach on a five-year deal on Wednesday and they are getting a ready-made star according to Hamburg's Djourou.
Djourou told Mirror Sport: "I think he will cope well because he has the physicality aspect to his game already.
"Sometimes when people come to the Premier League they are surprised at how physical it actually is. But he already has that.
"He is a player who gets a lot of yellow cards because in Germany it is maybe a bit too hard for his opponents. But English football will be perfect for him."
