Liverpool's U23 side recorded a 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers in Premier League 2 on Monday.

Elijah Dixon-Bonner opened the scoring after 10 minutes.

The 20-year-old, who joined Liverpool from Arsenal in 2015, scored his team's second just before halftime thanks to a wonderful curled strike into the top corner.

But Rovers fought back into the game thanks to a double from Jacob Davenport.

In heartbreaking fashion for the Reds, Davenport scored the equaliser from the penalty spot in the 86th minute.
