El Hadji Diouf may choose to stay with Blackburn Rovers.
It is understood Rovers are still wanting a fee for Diouf's services, understood to be between £500,000 to £750,000, putting a number of interested parties off making a move, says the Lancashire Telegraph.
The 30-year-old still has a year left on his Rovers contract, having signed from Sunderland for a fee in the region of £1.5m in January 2009, and is now considering seeing out his Ewood Park contract.
Diouf believes by staying at Rovers until next summer his options will vastly increase with clubs able to sign him on a free transfer.
