Dinamo Zagreb coach Zoran Mamic paid tribute to Harry Kane after their defeat to Tottenham on Thursday night.

Spurs won the first-leg of this round 16 tie 2-0, with Kane hitting both goals.

Mamic said, "Congratulations to Tottenham, they took the opportunity.

"Kane showed us what a football master he is. We played a solid game but we could have done something more in attack.

"Spurs played an aggressive game and won many duels. In attack they have fantastic players, they are fast, the wings and the midfielders always want the ball.

"Kane showed us what a champion he is: the first goal was simple but the second no, his shot was impossible to defend."
