Dier desperate for Tottenham to successfully juggle Premier and Champions League duties

Tottenham Hotspur's Eric Dier has highlighted the importance of getting back to top form following the international break.

On Saturday, Spurs take on Stoke City at Bet365 Stadium, the venue of their last league win last season, and midfielder Dier is eyeing a repeat of that performance.

The North London club finished third in the Premier League last season to book their spot in the Champions League which kicks off next weekend against Monaco at Wembley and Dier is hoping he and his colleagues are able to juggle the two competitions successfully.

"It was our last happy memory of last season," said Dier of playing Stoke.

"Hopefully this weekend there can be more of the same. We're really looking forward to playing again in the Premier League after the international break and we need to kick on this season.

"The aim is obviously to make Champions League football a regular thing for Tottenham.

"The league is still a massive priority for us and this year we have the lovely distraction of the Champions League as well so it's a really exciting season."
