New Wolfsburg signing Diego has slammed Juventus, declaring he was "BETRAYED" by the Bianconeri. Diego insists he was assured by Juve coach Gigi del Neri that he would not be sold, only for him to be sent back to the Bundesliga last week.
"I was betrayed by Juventus. Before I was transferred, Del Neri had told me that I was indispensable, but (Beppe) Marotta only wants Italian players and stars.
"Juve had a campaign of bad signings. There came many good players, but no star.
"Probably, the new director (Marotta) has not yet figured out what it means to lead Juventus."
