Diego Simeone is ready to renew his contract at Atletico Madrid.

Marca says coach Simeone's current deal is set to expire in 2020, though there are talks for him to remain until 2022.

Conversations between both parties will continue over the next few days though it is understood that both sides are keen to agree and Simeone is expecting, logically, a salary improvement.

With seven titles at the club, Simeone has guided the Rojiblancos through their most successful era.
