Chelsea stars Diego Costa and Oscar clashed angrily at training on Thursday ahead of the weekend's FA Cup clash with Scunthorpe United.
The Spanish striker reportedly took offence to a strong challenge from Oscar and retaliated with a heavy tackle himself.
It is believed that the pair squared up to each other in a heated exchange and had to be pulled apart by concerned teammates.
It was an extremely competitive training session at Cobham, which saw tempers flared but the Blues attacking duo did not throw any punches and reports suggest they quickly made up after everything cooled down.
Oscar later posted on Twitter, denying the confrontation ever occurred.
For those who are talking to me and @diegocosta struggle today in training he's lying, he's one of my best friends and never fight
